Lorijola · privacy
Privacy notice.
How Lorijola uses personal data, in plain words.
Who is responsible
Lorijola is the trading name of Bernardo Lorijola Rodrigues, an independent individual based in São Paulo, Brazil. He is responsible for the personal data described here. Lorijola is not a company and has no data protection officer: privacy and data-rights requests go to bernardo@lorijola.com.
What is collected, and why
- Requests sent through the forms on this site: your work email, company, platform and the details you choose to add, plus the campaign tags in the link you followed. Used to answer you and to see which link brought you here.
- Page events: which section or button was used and the campaign tags in the link. No file contents, no file names and no email addresses. Used to see whether the page works.
- Site performance data: Netlify, which hosts this site, collects page path, browser, device type and timings for its own performance monitoring.
- Business contacts: a name and role where the company publishes them, the company's published email address, and our correspondence. Used to offer a business service to the company. You can object at any time: reply "no thanks".
- Customers: names, work emails, roles, correspondence, and quote, payment and delivery records. Used to deliver the review and to keep the records tax law requires.
- Client files: none by default. Files containing personal data are accepted only if that is agreed in writing before any file moves.
Legal bases: legitimate interests (enquiries, business contact, running the site); taking steps towards and performing a contract (customers); legal obligation (tax and accounting records). Under Brazil's LGPD these are art. 7, IX, V and II.
Who else handles it
- Netlify: website hosting and forms.
- Zoho: business email.
- Close: contact and email records (CRM).
- Lorijola's own operational records: for example, which companies were contacted, replies, and opt-outs.
Personal data is not sold, and is not shared for anyone else's marketing. These providers may store or process data in other countries; you can ask for more information at the address above.
How long it is kept
- Page events and other raw analytics held by Lorijola: 90 days. Performance data that Netlify collects itself is kept by Netlify under its own terms.
- Contact records: 12 months after the last substantive commercial exchange, unless the law requires longer.
- Opt-outs: only what is needed, for as long as it is needed, to honour the opt-out and avoid contacting you again.
- Import templates sent for a free template check: deleted within 30 days, unless you ask for them to be kept.
- Client files: deleted within 30 days after the final delivery or rerun, unless another period is agreed in writing or required by law.
- Tax, payment and accounting records: for the period the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive a copy, to know who it is shared with, and to object to its use. Write to bernardo@lorijola.com. Requests are acknowledged within 5 business days and completed within the time the applicable law sets; where the law requires a faster response (for example, Brazil's LGPD provides for a simplified confirmation of whether your data is processed immediately on request), that requirement applies.
You can also complain to Brazil's data protection authority (ANPD), or to the data protection regulator where you live.
